Nathan Wray is an experienced fly fishing guide based out of Mammoth since 2000. He spent several years working at “The Troutfitters”, working, managing, and eventually guiding for the shop. For the past ten years he has been working independently guiding clients throughout the eastern Sierras. His resume includes, Head Guide at Hot Creek Ranch. Nathan guides all moving waters from Bishop to Bridgeport, but his passion and main expertise lies in dry fly fishing in spring creeks.

 

He has devoted countless hours exploring and fishing the back country on the hunt for big native golden Trout. His passion and skills have taken him all over the Sierras chasing Goldens at ice out. He has acquired vast knowledge of the Goldens feeding, spawning, and habitat styles. His learning continues because he feels Golden Trout are like no other trout, or animal...
